The Prevent Duty
Protecting children from the risk of radicalisation is seen as part of our schools wider safeguarding duty. In order to fulfil our prevent duty it is essential that we are able to identify children who may be vulnerable to radicalisation and know what to do when they are identified. All members of school staff have been trained in Prevent Awareness by Safer Vision. For further information please follw this link: 10 things you should know about Prevent - Northumberland
