Guide to Information

All schools and other educational settings must publish a 'Guide to Information', which is a document where schools list the type of information they, or third parties, hold, where this information is stored, and whether there is a charge should an individual request it under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, all schools and educational settings are required to hold a publication scheme that is readily available to the public and outlines the school's commitment to proactively publish information. Schools must adopt the ICO’s model publication scheme in full and without modification, with the exception of adding information where directed to do so within the document itself. Below is a copy of the ICO publication scheme.
